Transcend's SATA III 6Gbps MTS800 M.2 SSD supports Intel® Smart Response Technology (ISRT), which enables the SSD to be used as the cache memory between the HDD and the system memory. This gives the maximum capacity to the HDD while maintaining the experience of SSD.

ISRT monitors the most used programs and documents and stores them on the SSD. This speeds up the loading of applications and Significantly Improves system responsiveness, while all other data and programs are stored on the HDD. In this configuration, only one drive letter is Displayed. The cache SSD does not have its own drive letter.
