The ROGER UT-2 USB (UT-2USB) is a compact USB-to-RS485 interface designed for Roger RACS access control systems and general RS485 device connectivity. It offers galvanic isolation between the PC USB port and the RS485 bus, screw terminal RS485 connector, 2 LEDs for RS485 data flow and 1 LED for power, and comes with a ~1 m USB A-B cable. Power is derived from USB (5 VDC) or optional external 10–15 VDC (nominal 12 VDC). It supports baud rates up to 230.4 kb/s (v2.0), half-duplex RS485, up to 1200 m RS485 distance (at 9600 b/s), and is mountable flat/wall in a black plastic enclosure. Drivers provide a virtual COM port for Windows, Linux and macOS. Typical weight ≈40 g; package contains device, USB cable and documentation. Warranty: 2 years (manufacturer's spec).
