The Opticon M-11 is a compact omnidirectional 2D CMOS imager presentation desktop barcode scanner designed for hands-free scanning in retail, healthcare, manufacturing, transportation, logistics, POS, ticketing, ID verification, and kiosks. It supports a wide range of 1D and 2D symbologies, including mobile screen barcodes, Aztec Code, Data Matrix, Maxi Code, Micro QR, PDF417, QR Code, Composite codes, Codabar, Code 11/39/93/128, EAN/UPC, GS1 DataBar, IATA 2 of 5, Interleaved 2 of 5, Matrix 2 of 5, MSI Plessey, postal codes, and Passport MRZ OCR-B. The scanner uses the Opticon MDI-4100 engine for improved reading of low-quality barcodes and motion tolerance, with scanning performance up to 120 fps and omnidirectional 360-degree reading. It offers manual and auto-trigger modes, two warm white aiming LEDs, visual indicators with red, green, and blue LEDs, and a built-in speaker with adjustable tone. Communication options include USB HID/COM and RS232, with RJ45 serial/RS232C optional. The device is black, measures 84.4 x 48 x 124.4 mm, weighs 220 g, has IP42 protection, survives multiple 1.5 m drops to concrete, and operates from -5 to 45°C.
