The ABUS Terxon SX intrusion alarm control panel (MPN AZAA10000, SKU 599771, EAN 4043158226393) is a wired alarm control panel designed for smaller residential and commercial properties. It supports up to 10 wired detector zones (with sabotage monitoring and support for NC/DEOL wiring), up to 4 control units/keypads via an RS485 BUS, up to 10 users, and up to 4 sub-areas/partitions (1 area + up to 3 partitions). The unit is supplied from 230 V AC and accommodates a 12 V DC, 7 Ah backup battery; battery charging time up to 72 hours and backup time up to approx. 12 hours (depending on load). It includes a metal enclosure, a two-line alphanumeric LCD, programmable outputs (11 switching outputs total: 3 transistor outputs 500 mA each and 8 transistor outputs 50 mA each), event memory for 350 events, and multilingual display (6 languages). The Terxon SX does not include wireless detector networking or built-in alarm transmission; an external dialer (e.g. ABUS AZ6301 / AZWG10020) is required for alarm communication.
