The Fischer SX Plus 6x50 is a universal nylon expansion plug designed for secure fixings in solid and perforated building materials. The pack contains 100 pieces. It is made of high-quality PA6 nylon and features 4-way expansion for effective load transfer and strong holding performance. Special fixing fins help hold the screw in place during pre-fixing, which is especially useful for overhead installations. The pronounced rim prevents the plug from slipping deeper into the drill hole, while the expansion-free neck helps protect sensitive surfaces such as tiles and plaster. It is suitable for concrete, natural stone, solid brick, perforated brick, hollow blocks, cavity slabs, sand-lime brick, aerated concrete, gypsum board and lightweight construction materials. It is compatible with wood and chipboard screws with diameters from 4.0 to 5.0 mm. The plug diameter is 6 mm, plug length is 50 mm, required drill diameter is 6 mm, and the minimum drill hole depth is 60 mm. Typical applications include lighting, cabinets, motion detectors, skirting boards, light shelves, mirror cabinets, letter boxes, TV brackets, trellis structures and bathroom or toilet installations.
