The fischer PowerFast II 8.0x100 is a wood construction screw designed for demanding fastening applications in timber. It features an 8.0 mm diameter and 100 mm length, a countersunk head (TK), TX40 drive, and partial thread (TG). The screw is made of steel with a galvanized, blue passivated finish (blvz / BC), suitable for general indoor wood applications. The PowerFast II design includes optimized underhead geometry with a double cone and milling pockets to reduce wood splitting and achieve clean countersinking. Its thread design and high-performance wax coating help reduce driving torque and support fast, smooth installation. The pack contains 50 pieces. Available technical data indicates a thread length of 60 mm and an approximate head diameter of 21 mm. The screw can also be used with suitable fischer plugs such as DuoPower and UX where required.
