It is part of an HDMI extender kit and requires a compatible receiver for complete signal distribution. The unit supports H.264 compression, less than 0.5 second latency, 18Mbps network bandwidth, HDMI 1.3 and HDCP 1.2 compliance, IR remote control, and signal splitting or multicast distribution depending on system setup. Connections include HDMI input, Ethernet/UTP output, IR transmitter, 5VDC power input, and a reset button. The transmitter is black and intended for professional or home AV installations.
