The Ubiquiti UniFi Gateway Enterprise (UXG-Enterprise) is a rack-mountable 1U enterprise-class security appliance and cloud gateway designed for high-performance networking in demanding business environments. It delivers 12.5 Gbps IDS/IPS throughput, up to 23.5 Gbps firewall throughput, support for 1 million concurrent sessions, and up to 71,000 new sessions per second. Advanced networking features include multi-WAN load balancing, dynamic routing with OSPF and BGP, advanced NAT, an integrated RADIUS server with RadSec, policy-based routing, IPv6, IGMP proxy, mDNS, VPN support, and LTE backup failover.
Management is handled through Cloud Key, official UniFi Hosting, or UniFi Network Server version 8.3.32 and later. High availability is supported via Shadow Mode, and the unit includes dual hot-swappable redundant power supplies for resilience. Security features include license-free real-time encrypted packet inspection with NeXT AI Inspection and SSL/TLS decryption, deep packet inspection, and firewall inspection.
The front panel includes a 1.3-inch touchscreen for management and status. Connectivity includes 2 x 2.5 GbE RJ45 ports, 2 x 10G SFP+ ports, and 2 x 25G SFP28 ports, plus management via Ethernet and Bluetooth. It is powered by an 18-core ARM v8.2 processor at 2 GHz with 16 GB system memory. The enclosure is made from SGCC steel and aluminum, with dimensions of 442.4 x 43.7 x 325 mm, weight of 6.5 kg, and a 1U rack-mount form factor.
