The HDL Automation MC-31 is a magnetic contact sensor designed for alarm systems to detect the open or closed state of doors and windows. It consists of a reed switch part and a magnet part, and typically operates as a normally closed (NC) contact, with normally open (NO) available as an option. When the magnet is close to the reed switch the circuit is activated, and when the magnet moves away it triggers an alarm signal. Key specifications include an operating gap of at least 20 mm, maximum switching voltage of 100V AC/DC, maximum switching current of 0.5A, operating power of 10W, and a working temperature range from -20 to 80°C. The housing is made of ABS in white, the connection type is screws, and the service life exceeds 100,000 operations. It supports surface or flush mounting on doors and windows.
