Description
The Roger MCT82M-BK is an indoor proximity/RFID access control reader designed for integration with the RACS 5 access control system. It supports reading card factory serial number (CSN) and programmable numbers in encrypted memory sectors (SSN) for MIFARE Ultralight/Classic cards. The reader communicates via modified RS485 using the EPSO 3 protocol, features tamper (anti-sabotage) protection, three LED indicators and a glass front for a scratch-resistant aesthetic finish. The BK variant is the black version without a keypad. Typical supply is 12 VDC and reading range is up to 7 cm. Configuration and firmware are handled via RS485 and RogerVDM software. Intended for indoor installations and requires a host/controller.
