It is made from solid cast iron for excellent heat distribution and long heat retention, and it comes pre-seasoned for immediate use. The mit Füßen version features 3 feet for stable positioning directly over embers or fire. Total capacity is approximately 9 liters, consisting of a 7.5 liter pot and a 1.5 liter lid, making it suitable for around 8 to 14 people. The lid has a raised rim to hold coals on top for all-around heat and can also be used as a frying pan or serving plate. It features a sturdy handle for hanging over a fire, secure handling compatibility, and a thermometer hole for checking temperature without lifting the lid.
