The Petromax Feuertopf ft12 is a large cast iron Dutch oven designed for cooking over an open fire, embers, barbecue grills, and also on a kitchen stove. It is made from high-quality cast iron for excellent heat distribution and long heat retention. The surface is pre-seasoned with a natural non-stick finish, so it is ready to use without additional seasoning.
It offers an approximate total maximum capacity of 14 liters, with around 11.5 liters in the pot and around 3.5 liters in the lid. This size is suitable for preparing meals for approximately 14 to 20 people. The lid can also be used as a pan or serving dish and includes a thermometer hole for checking temperature during cooking without lifting the lid.
The ft12 is the version with legs, providing stable positioning directly on hot coals or over a fire. A sturdy carrying handle improves safe handling, and the robust construction makes it ideal for camping, outdoor cooking, barbecues, and heavy-duty use.
