The STABILA TECH 196 DL is a 61 cm digital electronic spirit level designed for precise slope, incline, and angle measurements in demanding construction and installation work. It features two illuminated digital displays for excellent readability in any position, including reverse rotation, plus acoustic guidance for hands-free alignment. CAL-FREE technology provides stable, calibration-free performance, while the ULTRA-PROTECT IP67 design makes the tool dust-tight and waterproof for harsh jobsite conditions. Measurement modes include degrees, percentage, mm/m, in/ft (decimal or fraction), and ROOF-PITCH mode for roof slopes. REF-MODE allows angle values to be stored and transferred to other surfaces, and KEY-LOCK prevents accidental operation. The rugged aluminum rectangular profile includes reinforcing ribs, two measuring surfaces, and removable shock-absorbing end caps with slip-stoppers and wall grips. It runs on 2 AA batteries and offers up to 400 hours of operation without illumination.
