* NOTE: Apple (Cinema) display with Thunderbolt / DisplayPort terminal take over their mini DisplayPort input only 720p (1280x720) resolutions contrary! Apple monitors allow on the DP EDID protocol NOT the high native resolutions of the monitor! This is no fault of the converter but a fundamental disadvantage of Apple monitors. They support high resolutions only that Thunderbolt protocol.
