The Edimax Network Switch TGS-3109PLX is a high-performance, web-smart network switch designed for small to medium-sized business network environments.
It features 8 ports of 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet (2.5GbE) with PoE++ capability on RJ45 connectors and a 10 Gigabit SFP+ uplink port. Each PoE++ port can deliver up to 90 watts of power, supporting power-hungry devices such as IP cameras and Wi-Fi access points, with a total power budget of 240 watts per switch.
The switch supports a special long-range mode allowing for power and data transmission up to 200 meters at a guaranteed speed of 10 Mbps. It is equipped with safety features like auto-detection of powered devices and power backfeed protection.
