The Climbing Technology Altimate is an innovative, modular sit harness engineered for ski touring, glacier travel and technical mountaineering on snow and ice. Key characteristics: ultra-lightweight (150 g for size M-L), waterproof, fully openable for easy donning with skis or crampons, and highly packable. It features a dual Walk/Ski and Climb configuration with the Versalock toggle system that allows mode switching without removing the harness and while wearing gloves. Construction uses an anisotropic fabric and belt/leg fabrics derived from sailing competition materials with 28–39% post-consumer recycled rPES content, produced in Europe. Other features include adjustable leg loops, 3 gear loops, 2 tool-holder inserts, 2 ice-screw slots, a seamless space-saving belay loop, reflective bands on attachment points, and minimal padding for mobility. Nominated for ISPO Award 2024.
