The EPEVER Tracer 8420AN is an 80 A MPPT solar charge controller for off-grid photovoltaic systems and battery storage. It supports 12/24/36/48 V battery banks with automatic system-voltage recognition and a battery operating range of approximately 868 V. The controller delivers up to 80 A charging current, MPPT tracking efficiency >= 99.5% and DC/DC conversion efficiency up to ~98.698.7%. Maximum PV open-circuit voltage is specified at 200 V for the 8420AN variant; maximum PV input power depends on nominal battery voltage (up to 6,000 W at 48 V). The unit includes RS485 communications (two parallel RJ45 ports) for monitoring and configuration, supports common lead?acid chemistries and user-defined profiles (and lithium profiles for the Tracer AN series), and is intended for standalone/off-grid use. Warnings: avoid direct rain or extreme temperatures, keep out of reach of children. Consult the supplied manual and rating label before installation.
