The Lanview Fiber Laser Pen Visual Fault Locator is a pen-type portable fiber optic testing tool designed for tracing, routing, and locating faults in fiber optic cables. It features a 10mW output, a red 650nm laser diode, and a 2.5mm universal connector compatible with SC, FC, ST, and LC connections with an adapter. It is used to detect breaks, bends, poor connections, and continuity issues, and can help identify fibers in OTDR dead zones. The unit supports both CW and pulsed operation modes and is powered by standard AA batteries. Its compact form makes it suitable for field technicians and general fiber optic maintenance tasks. It is not recommended for dark-colored or armored cables.
