Description
The ACS ACM1252U-Z2 is a compact NFC reader module designed for easy integration into embedded systems and 13.56 MHz contactless applications. It supports card reader/writer, card emulation, and peer-to-peer modes, and features a built-in antenna with firmware upgradability. The module uses USB 2.0 Full Speed connectivity via a Micro-USB connector and is CCID and PC/SC compliant. It is powered directly from the USB port and supports ISO 14443 Type A and B, MIFARE, FeliCa, ISO 18092, and T=CL protocols. Communication speed reaches up to 424 kbps, with a typical reading distance of up to 30 mm depending on the tag or card antenna. The module measures 52 x 20 x 6 mm, weighs 3.65 g, and comes in blue with a bi-color red/green LED. It is intended for compact embedded NFC solutions, smart card applications, and contactless system integration.
