The Fischer Dübel SX Plus Green 8x40 S is an expansion plug for fastening applications in solid and hollow building materials. It belongs to the fischer SX Plus Green range and is made from bio-based plastic with at least 50% renewable raw materials. The S version includes galvanized steel screws and is supplied in a 45-piece folding box. It features 4-way expansion for high load capacity, a collar that prevents the plug from slipping into the drill hole, and fixing wings that hold the screw in place for easier installation, including overhead mounting. It is suitable for concrete, solid brick, calcium silicate brick, natural stone, aerated concrete and hollow bricks. The required drill diameter is 8 mm, plug length is 40 mm, recommended drill hole depth is about 50 to 60 mm, and compatible screw diameter is 4.5 to 6.0 mm. Maximum fixture thickness is 10 mm. This product combines reliable holding performance with improved sustainability through its green material composition.
