The Atomos Ninja TX is a high-performance 5.2-inch monitor-recorder designed specifically for professional video production. Its bright 1500-nit IPS touchscreen delivers Full HD (1920x1080) resolution, ensuring clear and precise monitoring even under bright outdoor conditions.
Key features include:
- Combined HDMI 2.0 and 12G-SDI inputs and outputs
- Rugged aluminum housing with ABS plastic for durability
- Portability with dimensions of 151mm x 92mm x 36mm
- Weighing only 400 grams
Technically, the Ninja TX supports multiple professional codecs pre-activated out of the box, including Apple ProRes, ProRes RAW, Avid DNx, and H.265/H.264. This feature allows for immediate recording without activation delays.
The device can handle various resolutions and frame rates:
- Up to 120fps at HD
- 60fps at 4K UHD/DCI
- 30fps at 8K UHD/DCI
Storage flexibility is enhanced through support for ultra-fast CFexpress Type B media and USB-C external drives. Power options include USB-C PD input supporting up to 45W, NP-F batteries, or AC adapters.
