Key Components:
- Tailpiece Adapters: Designed to match the shape of your existing lock's tailpiece. These adapters are critical to ensure a proper fit and a secure connection between the Danalock and the door lock.
- Back Plate: The back plate facilitates the fitting of the Danalock onto the door. It includes notches that align with the back of the lock, providing a stable mounting point.
- Battery Cover: Positioned on the back plate, this component houses the batteries and is vital for powering the smart lock.
- Notches on Back Plate: Small markings on the back plate need to align with the hole in the cover ring surrounding the Danalock, ensuring secure installation.
Installation Instructions:
- Select the appropriate tailpiece adapter for your lock.
- Insert the tailpiece adapter into the Danalock until it clicks into place.
- Fit the Danalock onto the back plate with the battery cover facing downwards.
- Align the small mark at the edge of the back plate with the hole in the cover ring.
- Secure the Danalock by turning it clockwise until it clicks.
- Activate the batteries by pulling out the plastic tab. A light will flash to confirm the Danalock is ready.
