The Synology NAS DS1825+ Tower 8-Bay No HDD USB3 is designed to provide outstanding performance for small to medium-sized businesses and advanced personal users. With a focus on scalable storage solutions, this NAS features 8 drive bays that support both 3.5" SATA HDDs and 2.5" SATA SSDs, allowing for efficient hot-swapping of drives.
Equipped with two M.2 2280 NVMe SSD slots, the DS1825+ takes performance to the next level by enabling SSD caching or creating storage pools. Please note that installation of NVMe slots requires chassis removal and only Synology's NVMe SSDs are compatible.
The server runs on an AMD Ryzen V1500B quad-core processor, clocked at 2.2 GHz. It comes standard with 8GB of ECC memory which is upgradeable for even better performance.
