- Laser Specs: Emits a red laser beam for aligning the optical path, calibrated with a tolerance of under 2mm bias for paths up to 7 meters.
- Design Details: Features a machined rim for proper alignment and a 45° angled viewing port for easier observation of the laser dot return.
- Operation: The collimation process involves two main steps:
- Tilt the secondary mirror until the laser dot hits the center of the primary mirror.
- Adjust the primary mirror until the laser beam returns to a silver reflector plate inside the collimator, aligning it with the original beam.
- Power: Operates using three LR44 batteries (included) for portable use.
