The Ajax GlassProtect/White 30856 Fibra is an advanced wired glass break detector that provides high precision in detecting glass break sounds. Its sophisticated technology ensures security by minimizing false alarms through a sensitive electret microphone and a DualTone digital algorithm.
The device is effective at detecting glass break events from up to 9 meters (approximately 29.5 feet) away and boasts a wide horizontal detection angle of 180°. It is compatible with various glass types, including standard, insulated, and tempered glass, with thicknesses ranging from 0.16" to 0.24".
One of the key features of the GlassProtect is its use of Ajax’s proprietary Fibra wired communication technology. This ensures secure two-way communication with the control hub over distances of up to 6,500 feet via a 4-core cable, providing enhanced reliability and anti-sabotage protection.
